Quantum Runners
Main Menu

Once past the Intro Screen, Runner's are presented with the Main Menu, seen depicted here. Note the difficulty level is set to Apprentice. There are a total of 5 difficulty levels, the other four being: Journeyman, Master, Champion, and Runner. While there are many feature menus within Quantum Runners, Players can literally move from game-start to racing in no less than two button presses!

Quantum Runners
Level Options Menu

Here, Runners can set up the track layout on 5 different rings, flying left or right on each, for 1 to 20 laps each ring. Additionally, this menu is where Rated Racing is selected in order to participate in the in-game Stats & Achievements and Leaderboards panels (see below). The Track Safety menu is also accessable from here. Note the interactive planetary rings icon that is displaying a Runner difficulty Rated Race course.

Quantum Runners
Player/AI Ships Customization

Quantum Runners ships with 12 QER model racers, each of which is customizable. Additionally, ships are customizable as two sets, the AI fleet, and the Player's fleet. This means you can customize ships, a Razorback model RB shown above, to appear in one configuration when flown by the Player, and another when flown by an AI Pilot. Note the many selections available and the controllable orbiting camera to inspect your selections!

Quantum Runners
Language Support

Quantum Runners supports six languages as follows:
English
Spanish
French
German
Portuguese
Italian
...with more to come! As noted in the above image, the game's language can be changed from the Settings menu by just clicking an arrow key!

Quantum Runners
Environment Customization Menu

The planet, each ring, and each torus can be customized to the Player's needs from the Environment Menu. Each ring and torus pair rotate into view on selection and an HSV color picker, operable with Mouse or Controller, can effect a wide array of unusual color combinations and effects. Choose wisely! At 2000 KPS, Runners typically find some color contrast to be advisable. Six savable presets are provided.

Quantum Runners
Track Safety Menu

Quantum Runners comes equipped with the latest race course safety features, all of which you may choose to turn off. For best results, leave them on until you can safely traverse Jump Gates without experiencing a short stay in the cold, dark, vacuum of space. If you insist, each toggle in the above image will indicate ON vs. OFF in the view port provided, for the various safety features available. Not to worry, it's perfectly safe...

Quantum Runners
Stats & Achievements

Quantum Runners supports real time Stats and Acheivements in-game. To make progress here, Runners must select, race, and perform in Rated Races from the Level Options Menu. All badges are resettable, however, Last 10 Rated Race Times and Rated Race Completion Average are not. As pointed out in the Flight Control Manual, we have overridden Steam's coddling bias algorithm and only achieved times are collected.

Quantum Runners
LeaderBoards

There is a seperate Leaderboard for each of the five difficulty levels. The Apprentice Leaderboard is shown above. At present, Quantum Runners in-game leaderboards reflect the top 12 race times solar system wide in real time! In addition to the Steam API data base, we also utilize our own database, fully encrypted, so that we can ensure only curated data is exposed to our often under the age of majority Players.

Quantum Runners
Audio Menu

Quantum Runners comes equipped with a 10 channel mixer setup with custom menu track, racing track, and Foley sounds by our talented musician, Javo Muñoz. The Audio menu offers independent channel volume control, menu & racing track selection options, and Quantum Engine variable pitch preview for the 8 different engine audio clips available. Above, Master volume is set at max to provide full audio range for each sub-channel.

Quantum Runners
Remap Menu

With the exception of a few UI menu items, everything is remappable. Simply click the corresponding control input and follow the easy on-screen directions. There is a global reset button provided in this menu should you mess up a remap task to the point you can't race the game! Additionally, Player's can hot swap controllers and other input devices mid-race if desired. Controller input axis calibration is also provided.

Quantum Runners
Graphics Menu

Quantum Runners comes with the obligatory Graphics Menu, with Quality, Resolution, and Windowed play options available. It's important to note that Quantum Runners, out of the box, will attempt to set itself to the highest supported Resolution the system detected monitor will support. This can be changed and will be auto-saved for next time. For satisfactory gameplay with less capable machines, reduce both Quality and Resolution.

Quantum Runners
Flight Control Menu

Player's will struggle to compete if a solid understanding of the Flight Control setup procedure is not obtained. It's quite straightfoward, just click Fly by Mouse or Fly by Controller, and for newer Players, select the Ring Gate Exist Assist toggle. Take some time to experiment with the various settings and set up and fine-tune your QER series racer to compete at maximum performance and profit!

Quantum Runners
Show Room

Just prior to entering the race, the last step for Runners is to select a ship to fly. All 12 ships can be scrolled through, carousel style, until your favorite ship is presented. Each ship will reflect the exact setup that is either in the default settings or whatever the Pilot selected in the Customize Player Ships Menu. All selections throughout Quantum Runners are saved and will survive game restart. Press Play!

Quantum Runners
4, 3, 2, 1, RACE!

After a short loading overlay, where you will be reminded that you are racing either a Rated, Practice or Tutorial race, you'll be racing. Results may vary, thus take some time to read the Online Flight Control Manual. The game will auto restart the race should you expire in the aforementioned cold, dark vacuum of space.

Marketing Approach

We've been creating and posting video and stills of gameplay on every media channel that makes sense. You can review our efforts to date below. For selling games, we favor posting on Instagram, which, we have seen, is where our wishlist numbers come from. The other method we are using is free access key giveaways, to both curators, and frankly, anyone who takes an interest.

Moving Forward

We're continuing the posting regimen, have created and are executing on a Curator Key for Review program, and are contemplating a preliminary Racing League with modest cash prizes. There are a number of publishers yet to be approached, and pitching is one of our strengths, apparently! Paid streamer events, discounting programs, bundling, et. al. are all on the table.
